Is your coach plugged in shore power? If yes it will switch to electric automatically as electric has priority.

Yes I’m plugged in 50amp
When I power up the fridge it goes to propane and when I try to switch to electric it goes back to propane
I thinks the heating element are bad. It is really tight access . I think I may have to remove the access door frame to gain more room and still have to push the fridge forward or even remove it to get this fixed.
RVing is fun and I love it but sometimes 🤑😵🤔🤬
I’ve had pretty good luck for 12 years only having to replace....
Built in microwave
Water pump 3 times
All the batteries 3 times
Bathroom skylight
All vent covers
Flooring
Now the fridge needs fixing
My windows are all having seal problems
Day/night shads are shot
The paint is shot
Tires are getting old
20 foot awning just took a dump
Back up camera quit working
Slides leak when it rains
Good news Cummings 350 runs great
My winter plans are not looking good😕

Swaps to GAS with rig plugged into AC Shore Power...
Then you NOW need to test/check IF you have AC to fridge/on fridge circuit board
Test fridge AC Outlet....if not hot---tripped circuit breaker or GFCI
Got AC then need to test the AC Fuse on circuit board ----Glass 5A Fuse
(J5 120V AC Hot terminal/J6 120V AC Neutral terminal....fuse is just above those connections)
Fuse Bad.......good chance one of the 2 elements is bad
Fuse Good.....one of both elements are not working OR circuit bd is faulty
(J7 and J8 are terminals for both elements ---wired in series)
So Voltmeter and follow the AC Circuit
And YES fridge will need to be pushed out of cabinet a few inches to gain workable access to both elements.

Dometic refridgerator not running on LP
Hello,
I am having problems with my 18 year old dometic refridgerator. My husband and I bought the RV about 2 years ago so I'm not sure when the last time it ran on LP was. It runs fine connected to shore power. I have used pressurized air to blow things out and a pipe cleaner to clean the burner. I can't get the flame guard off to check the quality of the flame but it seems to fire right up. However, after a minute or 2 it shuts off. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what my problem is?

Two things --
First I have run the Ahmish cooling unit for about two years now and it is a lot more efficient than the Norcold type -- setting are much lower and cools well no matter the outside temp. This is the regular propane/electric type.
Next -- if you keep the NORCOLD/DOMETIC I would personally recommend a safety system better than the recall box.
I use the ARP control unit -- just my opinion.
thx Dale

Needs to be level
So I noticed the fridge temps went up to 45-50 degrees today and figured out that the coach wasn’t level(I had moved it to do some work where it was parked) it wasn’t that far off but enough I guess to affect the fridge...I moved it back to where it normally sits and got it set up perfectly level within several hours temps went back to 35 degrees.
I think it’s because the cooling unit is so old or maybe it just needs to be dead perfect level....anyway I’m just happy it’s working
Any thoughts
