Dometic RM2862 Fridge

I've got a chance to buy a 2007 fridge that is in great condition appearance wise, but doesn't cool. I can get it for around $25. Here's what I know about it:

1. No yellow dust or ammonia smell present
2. Quit cooling gradually
3. Both fridge and freezer are not cooling
4. The upper coils were warm when it quit cooling
5. No lights or other indications of it not working correctly

Any input or suggestions will be appreciated. It does have wood door panels that are in great shape. For $25 it might be worth it and maybe just part it out.

11 year old non working .....parting it out ???

Who wants 11 year old parts when new are still available??

**Quit cooling gradually/freezer & food compartments not cooling
Classic signs of obstructed/blocked cooling unit
Overheating causes sodium chromate to crystallize --- crystals plate out ----- disrupts natural gravity flow of coolant solution --- more overheating/more crystals formed/more plating out/more obstructions until DEATH

Overheating can be caused by 'off level' operations for even 20 minutes, lack of proper draft due to ventilation issues or even lousy installs by RV Mfgs

The plating out by the sodium chromate is accumulative and PERMANENT

Save your $25 and time/effort for a piece of junk that can't even be sold for scrap
