Hello and . We are glad to have you join us here and we look forward to reading of your adventures and experiences. I am sure you will enjoy the website and forums. Good luck, stay safe and keep us posted.
When you installed the new control boards and thermostat, did you set the dip switches to the same setting as the original boards? This needs to be done and then a thermostat reset done. The thermostat controls the zone pumps on the Aquahot. There is another control board for the Aquahot and it is usually very close the the unit. Inside the coach should be some switches the turn on the electric element and the diesel burner.

Hendrix will also set up a whole 4 utton to 5 button with all the dips set all the boards and guide you though all the pain. And a lot cheaper than most.

I installed the 2 A/C control board, set the switches and they are working fine. These A/C control boards control the heater zones 1 and 3. Zone 2 which is the bathroom is controlled by an additional control board that is located somewhere. I called Monaco and they FAXed me the schematic but was told "They don't tell where they are located, they only tell us there is one."I disconnected the line from the second A/C that goes to the zone 2 control board so I have air which is kinda nice in Phoenix in the summer. I have until winter to find and replace the other board.

I had my Dometic Duo-Therm RV thermostat refurbished. We had a trip scheduled before our scheduled time to take the RV back in to have the thermostat replaced and some other work done. I picked up the thermostat and plugged it in. There is no power to it. What can I do to get power to it? We are in South Louisiana at an RV park and we are dying. LOL
Thanks

The 12vdc feeding the thermostat comes from one of the air conditioners return vent area where there is a 12 vdc feed from the distribution panel. First check your 12 vdc panel for any blown fuses; especially one marked furnace. If you have power there, then check to be sure no wiring has come loose at the return vent area feeding the control box. There is a fuse inside the control box that you can also check. If you have power feeding the board, pull the data cable out and re-install to assure good connection. Let us know the results and what you find.

We have a 98 Monaco Signature with the same equipment. With the "no power to the thermostat" I have twice found corroded phone jack connectors/couplers at the rooftop units. I cut off the old ones and replaced them which solved that problem (be careful you crimp the connector in the same wiring order as it was removed). As for the Zone 2 control board, when using an Aquahot, they are mounted in a metal box either behind the panel over the fridge or in a cabinet close by. Wiring from these controllers feed 3 local relays at the Aquahot unit - one for each zone pump (if you have 3 zones that is). Hope this helps.

Newark no longer stock the replacement switches as stated in a previous post. They can be obtained from PVA10AH1 C&K Components | Mouser
