Duo-Therm Roof Air Fan Issue

My 98 Diplomat has 2 Duo-Therm Penguin model 600315 roof air units both blow cold as they should the only problem is the fans on both only run on one speed and it seems like low speed? It has an upgraded Comfort control center that will allow me to select Low-Med-High or Auto but none of them make any difference still the same fan speed? this is my first Diesel pusher and boy they are high maintaince! Help please!

Thanks in advance!

I have these kind of A/C and when I switch between the low med and high button, the fan gets louder. Yours should have a temp switch too.

I would suspect incorrect wiring. Find an RV appliance repair outfit that has experience w/the AC wiring.

I found in one of the rear compartments an old thermostat and a control box that they left behind after the switch so maybe they wired it up wrong?

The control boards did have to be upgraded to go from 4button to 5button so possibly wasn't done right.

My system does not immediately change speeds ... there is a delay ... I never measured but it's probably a minute.
