Electric fireplace

My 2003 Forest River 5th wheel has the original Dimplex Optifame electric fireplace. I am cleaning it and replacing the light bulbs. The Heater Assembly fan motor makes a clicking noise when turned on. There is no noise when the fan blade is spun by hand. Anyone replace the fan motor or Heater assembly. Everything works just the low clicking noise when the fan is turned on. I took it apart to clean and no sign of anything obstructing the fan motor or blade. Thanks

The bushings in the fan could be worn enough for the blower wheel to move under power and make contact with the shroud. You may try adjusting mounting or replace if need be.
