Extend A Stay/Sturgi Stay Connection
A couple items...
1. Extend A Stay (EAS) is now Sturgi Stay. New name, no changes to the product.
2. I can't find the posting but in another thread I read someone say that the EAS has check valves so that the RV won't back fill an external tank and visa versa. THAT IS WRONG!
I spoke with the company vice president this morning and he was very clear that there are no check valves in either the EAS or the Sturgi Stay. Also, in an Email I sent he replied to a couple questions: His answers in red.
Does the EAS automatically stop flow from the RV tank when an external tank is added? Absolutely not. You must close the valve on the coach ASME tank.
Does the EAS allow both tanks to flow through the EAS? Yes it will, there is no backcheck in the EAS. You have the potential to backfill the ASME tank.
In a related question he said that back filling the ASME (RV) tank is not recommended.
