Extension cord info for Progressive Dynamics pwr converter

Info for everyone if it hasn't been posted already. Some of us need to mount the Progressive Dynamics charger/converter further away from the Charge Wizard Pendant than the short 5ft cord that comes from the factory allows. I have just installed a PD9260 with just this problem. Beware you CANNOT use telephone cords or couplers, they are a wider 6P4C type connector. The connector PD used on pendant wire is a 4P4C type. Easy enough to fix. Google or Amazon "click" couplers and cords of your needed length! Here is a dimension drawing link of the 4P4C that you need. http://www.hyperline.com/img/sharedi..._plug-4p4c.jpg Here is a pic of the two for comparison. Telephone Modular Plug RJ11, RJ12 / Telephone / Modular plugs / Catalog / Hyperline. IMPORTANT If the coupler is exposed to elements underneath or outside, wrap the connection in a good mastic type electrical tape. It bonds to itself and is truly water tight unlike regular vinyl black elect tape!!! I hope this helps a bunch of people out!!!
