Fisher Paykel DD24 Dishwasher

We have a Fisher Paykel DD24 disher that is about 6 years old.
It has worked great until now. We can no longer get the door to lock on the Dishwasher so it will not work on any cycles and is a pain when we travel.

When you push the lock button it will do 1 beep and show that the door is locked. But it does not give the second beep or lock like it should.

Any help or info would be appreciated.

Have contacted Fisher Paykel and they say to get a tech to come and service the unit.

Yes your going to need a technician to replace the door closure switch.

I had Steve from Highland Appliance Service in Indio look at it today.
He took the door off and cleaned all of the contact points and it seem to be working like normal.
