Fix or replace Coleman Mach 15

So i have an older NRC 05 box that has two ducted colman-mach 15's, my living room AC motor has died the blower motor, i have ordered a replacement motor. But was wondering should i just be replacing these units because they are so old?

I was also wondering if anyone has a quiet series and if these are actually quieter?

I spoke with customer service today (5 hours for them to return my call) and they were completely useless with their response, he reply was yes it is quieter, go to a dealer and listen to it) when i asked if i should be replacing them he say they are RV AC not quite sure what that means but ya know...

maybe my questions are ignorant but wondering everyone's insights

Most newer AC's are more efficient as well as a bit quieter, they should all have a db rating to compare with. I replaced both of my 13,500 BTU Dometics in my 02 Dutch Star to simply get more BTU's. They stated that the Newer Dometic was quieter but in fact was about the same. If your AC's are working and doing their job for you and you only have to replace one motor to get the use of both back, I'd go that route. If you are about to take a long trip and don't want the hassle of one going out on you along the way, that maybe a reason to get new ones. Bottom line is it is totally your call.
