Fleetwood GE Microwave Removal

Hi.
So...if it wasn't hard enough to access the top mounting bolts, which I finally figured out that the little 'spice rack' comes out as an assembly after the 4 side screws are removed....I couldn't get the unit to tilt off that rear bracket and come off!!!

So...finally....after knowing FOR SURE studying install diagrams from GE that there were no release levers or screws or nothing....my DW and I tilted that sucker as far forward as humanly possible....and it STILL WOUDN'T COME OFF the little bottom tabs.

Standing on a step stool and peering down from the top rear of the unit....I found the trouble. IT WAS GLUED TO THE BRACKET. What?!? With one person holding the unit and the other taking a pry bar and rubber mallet...we were able to separate the wall bracket from the MW.

I post this info as I never really found anything that helped me. So now watch....I'll get the mount and all fixed and the unit back up...and it will fail in 2 months.

So now to repair the top mount screws and repair the cracked metal cover so I can re-install and have it secure and not afraid of it falling down. Wow
