Fridge Issue

I have a 2013 Redwood 36RL with the Dometic double door fridge. The refrigerator has an internal fan that runs most of the time that it's in operation (propane or electric) but does turn off occasionally. Today it started "short cycling" on and off every 5-10 seconds. Switched modes and tried turning it off for a few minutes but the fan continued to cycle even when the fridge was turned off. The only way to stop it was to open the battery disconnect switch but as soon as I powered back up, it began cycling again. I'm stumped. Any ideas?

Was the fan installed as part of the recall campaign? They come with a thermostatically controlled switch, so it might have found that “sweet spot” temperature where it will cycle. As for it running with the fridge off, the relay/controller might have stuck on or it was installed on a hot circuit
