fridge keeps tripping gfi in bathroom

i have a norcold 1200 lrim-serial number 1417774,the last few times i plug my rv in at house to get ready for a trip, the fridge repeatedly trips the gfi in the bathroom for a couple of days, then it seems to straighten out and everything works fine. in addition, yesterday when i did the above it also wont switch on to lp. lp tank is full, lit the stovetop and it works fine. any ideas to check?

It sounds like a wire has rubbed through its insulation somewhere in the fridge, or the heater element has shorted to the flue. Since it also doesn't switch to LP, check for any blown fuses on the control board.

Neighbor had the same issue , if you have an icemaker with a frost build up around up, time for a defrost.
Sorry , mental note to self re-read post before replying, your blowing on start up , so your fridge is not frosted up.
But the issue could still be with the ice maker if you have one , try disconnecting the 110 feed to the ice maker from the control board.

Had a Norcold do this. Ohm the heater wires to the casing of the heater. If any reading other than infinite ohms, replace the heater.
