Unhappy Fridge won’t ignite

Plenty of propane, it is ON, hot water heater works, fridge works on electricity. When I try to start it with LP I can hear the starter clicking incessantly to try and start but it just doesn’t “catch”.
Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

I agree, probably dirty. You didn't say how long since you last used it. I used to have a Jayco Kiwi with a propane fridge. Kept it in my side yard. Once a month I opened it up and took a leaf blower to it on setting #9. Biggest issue was spiders.

I had a similar issue. I removed the vent cover, and put my finger on the gas solenoid to feel the if the valve is opening. My issue was corroded connectors.

Every season, I clean out the area behind the fridge and check the orifice. I also added fiberglass window screening to the inside of the vent cover. It keeps a ton of crap out. I will never understand why manufacturers don't screen the vent openings.

If the RV sits, I have to turn on a stove burners until it lights, then I start the fridge on propane. If I don't do this, it takes about ten power cycles on the fridge before the propane makes it all the way to the burner.

Old Biscuit is the pro on these things!

I had a similar problem once and all it was is a rust flake fell down out of the flu and shorted out the spark gap. A shot of comperssed air, and away it went.
