Furnace Problem

I am renovating a 28' Timberlodge travel trailer for work. The latest problem is the furnance. When you turn it on, the blowers come on but the furnance will not light. Outside, you can smell propane in the exhaust air coming out of the furnace.

Any suggestions.....

You don't say what yr make or model. I might suspect the control circuit card if it is a later model unit.

Most likely the first place to start is to be sure the burner, ignition electrode and combustion chamber are clean, the battery voltage is at least 12 vdc and you verify good electrical connections on control board, electrode and gas valves.

This unit was built in Oct 04 and the model number is 282BSCE. It did not come with any manuals, so I don't know the manufacturer or model number of the furnace. It looks like I need to take the refrigerator out to get at the furnace, no outside access. I'll see if I can find a model number on the furnace, then see if I can find an installation manual online.

I have access to my furnace from the inside under the refridgerator. Also on the inside of one of my kitchen cabinet doors is the build sheet. It shows the make and model and serial numbers of all appliances. Even my 1985 Komfort 5ver had this build sheet. Check the inside of all cabinet doors.
