Gas smell ok, lp to fridge during travel still issue.

Lp on fridge works great hook to park power, but on the road doesn't work, it's a dometic, I'm a handyman by trade, but dc has me confounded, what wires do I check for 12 volts, on the outside hatch or at the fuse box, also heard of the Venturi effect but its an airstream so you'd think this would pop up on others, when we got to park fridge was already to 55 degrees, the burner was still lit, when I shut off propane it tried to relite.

If the control panel on the refrigerator is lit up, you are getting 12 volts to the refrigerator. If it works when on shore power, but not on the road, perhaps your battery voltage is too low. When on shore power the converter provides the necessary voltage.

Airstream dometic prob

I posted with fridge issue about not cooling well on batt power on the road, my tech called manufacture and sent a shroud for the out side thermostat. Come to find out that on our 2008 safari it cools the outside thermostat to much tricking it into thinking the fridge temp is cool so it never calls for cooling at hwy speed. I will post after first trip to see if it worked.
