Gas Stove Pilot Went Out

We are brand new Grand Design Solitude owners and have lots of questions. Our dealership said this is the place to ask questions. When we left the dealership everything was working. We were under the impression that when one 30 gallon gas tank ran out the other one would bleed over into the other so the pilot light on the gas range would not go out. It did! We did everything the dealership advised us to do to get the gas to pull through but no luck. Is it safe to turn the gas on and light the pilot manually? Any suggestions?

Did you have BOTH propane valves OPEN?

Auto changeover can only occur when both cylinders are valved in for service.
1st one valved in is Primary......lever turned to point towards 1st cylinder
Then valve in the 2nd cylinder.
*Open the Valves SLOWLY --- if too fast it can tip the Excess Flow Device located inside the big ACME Nut on the pigtail hose (close valve/wait 30 sec/reopen SLOWLY to reset)

YES you can Manually light the pilot flame
*This Pilot flame is for Oven Correct?
Usually just light the pilot when going to use the oven.

As mentioned, the tanks will switch automatically, if setup correctly. On our stove/oven, the pilot light does NOT stay on all the time. There should be an ignitor in the back of the oven that sparks and lights the pilot light when you use it.
We have a Furrion stove/oven in our 2018 rig.
