I noticed a few days ago the rear heat pump unit wasn't cooling. I checked the obvious as much as possible, good voltage, clean coils etc. Just wasn't cooling much at all. I found a local guy that was willing to look at it so I took the coach over this morning for him to look at it, thinking possibly it might be low on refrigerant. After starting the unit up, it ran about 5 min or so and he tells me its cooling great. I told him it hadn't been cooling and he tells me all he had to do was tap the reversing solenoid with the handle of his screwdriver. Unit is working great again! He claims the reversing solenoid or the reversing valve itself will sometimes stick and cause that problem. So, the good Lord smiled on me today!!
Just hoping it keeps on working.
