Heart Interface Source Manager 20

I can't find a book on Heart Interface Source Manager 20 inverters. There is an on/off switch on the top. Any body know what it is for? Does it control the solar charging of the batteries?

The switch on top is called an inverter bypass switch. "It is to be turned on if there is no AC power available to the coach when it is plugged into shore power. The engagement switch forces the internal relays into the shore power position." This is from the book for the Source Manager 20. Mine presently is not working on shore power, so have some work to do tomorrow and if not working, need to get replacement. Talked to a gent today and they have not made parts for these in a very long time and new boards are no longer available. Mine has AC in but no AC out. The charger will charge, and when unplugged from shore power, the inverter will work. Presently we are setting in 40 weather on our way south with only inverter AC and a battery charger hooked up to house batteries. Going to experiment tomorrow, and if there are indeed no user serviceable parts in side, I guess it will be history. Hope this may help. Bert
