Heater “FIND MY LIMIT SWITCH"

I have a TT with an ATWOOD HEATER #AFSD20121. Have looked everywhere to find the location of the limit switch. Every Atwood of Dometic heater seems to have them in different places dempending on model #, Looked all over the internet with no luck. Can’t even find any thing on YOU TUBE . If you have a newer trailer and know where it is located on the heater it would be much appreciated.

There are 6 models (with your part number) depending on how many ducts and how the ducts are oriented, single stage or two stage, etc.

Starting on page 49 there are exploded drawings showing the parts locations, and parts lists.

Verify your specific High Temp limit switch temperature rating as there are 5 different switches listed (page 39).

My furnace was doing the blowing cold for a while then cut of when wouldn’t ignite thing. I took out the sail switch and cleaned it. Everything working as it should. Went camping and it was back to it’s old not working status. This time I just thought I would replace both switches with new. Now that I see that I have to take the whole meter out to get to the cut off switch I think I will just put a new sail switch in and hope for the best. If it does’t work it may be time to just by a MR HEATER portable. Whey would any company put a cut off switch where it is so hard to get at? The sail switch on my heater is not where it shows on your schematic and is easy to get to once I removed the heater from it’s difficult location.
