Hello, new member checking in to the forum.
Has anyone removed their tecma macerating toilet permanently from their motor home?

Permanently as in No Toilet at all OR replace with another type of toilet?

Toilet is one of the 'self-contained' features of an RV like stove, water heater, fridge etc
Toilet is a nice convenience in an RV

Hi ! Welcome to IRV2! We're sure glad you joined us!

Just curious as to what you plan to do for a toilet?

Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!

Toilet removal permanently

I have a 1 1/2 bathroom; a foot flush over my black tank, and a tecma macerater in the back.
The macerater makes alot of noise and we never use it. I would like to move it permanently and plug the pipe. If I change my mind later, I will add a new toilet. Right now, it is a nuisance.

Tried looking for a YouTube video, but no luck.

That makes sense. I can see why you can't find any videos though, most people consider that a luxury and wouldn't want to take it out. I'm not familiar with macerator toilets but would think capping the water lines and drain would be all you have to do. Maybe just talk to a plumber and see what he says.
