Help Dometic Fridge Will not light

I am trouble shooting my fridge that will not light on propane. I am getting no spark. I test the voltage going into the sparker and it is correct.
When I place a multimeter on the L terminal of the L terminal of control board I get a constant 6v. It does not pulse like stated in the manual. Is this correct? Does the Multimeter make the board think it is lit and therefore not send a pulsing signal.
I have determined that the problem is a crack in the electrode because when I remove the electrode and only hold the wire it will spark. If I hold the ceramic it will shock me. I am correct thinking the electrode is damaged.

More over I would just like to know if the sparker control board is working correctly.

You are on the right track. It is not uncommon for the porcelain part of the ignitors to get a hairline crack in them (generally on furnace ignitors due to the excessive heating/cooling of the porcelain) causing the spark to find someplace else to ground to rather than in the pocket where it's supposed to be. In most of those cases you'll hear the snapping of the ignitor but upon visual inspection you'll find the spark far from where it's supposed to be.

In my troubleshooting I find that ignitor controls either work or don't - there doesnt seem to be any in-between. Ignitors themselves are very inexpensive, and as you can see, very easy to change - you are on the right track - change it first.
