Only one problem with that-the flush should be on the left side so you don't have to take your foot off the fuel pedal. Unless, of course, you have cruise control engaged. Being a lefty, I would keep the tp on the signal lever.

In one of the old Army Helicopters I crew chiefed we had relief tubes. OK, let your imagination work on that, anyway one day we were transporting a high ranking officer when I noticed he was speaking into the relief tube. I got on the intercom and told the pilot the General was calling on the relief tube system and he'd probably better answer as the officer had it to his ear by now.
He did and they carried on a conversation for a while.

While I didn't dare laugh, it was killing me not to.
