Hello all,

I'm trying to find some user info on a Hopkins Tire Pressure Monitor system.

Anybody familiar with the system? Got anything good or bad to say about the system?

Thanks in advance.

can' help you with how they work but camping world has them on sale till 2/16 399.99 reg 359.99 pres club and take an additional 10% off with coupon/ rv view mag for a total of 324.09 inc 6 preasure sensors. there was 1 review on cw site which read well. they are out of stock but we purchased one anyway to get the extra 10% off. they will ship when available. jim

Thanks Jim and Sue,

I found a Hopkins on eBay for $381, includes 8 sensors and free shipping. I'll probably go that route if I choose the Hopkins.

From what I can tell, the Hopkins system does not tell you actual PSI. It only provides 12.5% 'fuel efficiency' warning and 25% emergency alarm.

You can remove the valve stem dongles to save sender battery but the only remedy for a low battery is a new sender.

bryanl, i think you misunderstood! the hopkins system tells you exact individual preasures but also tells you with a yellow light that a tire is low within 12.5% and a red light 25% low for a danger or emergency warning. they are there for a convenience when not paying attention! jim.
