House batteries

I have searched the site to no avail.
I am replacing my 4 6 volt L16 house batteries and am looking for info on the Rolls Surrette S6 L16-HC battery.
Does anyone have experience with them?
Thanks, Bob

Can't help you with the information you requested.

However I can make a suggestion based on many years on this forum.

Go take pictures of your batteries right now BEFORE you remove them. Maybe even mark the cables.

I have not used that battery brand. The company certainly provides extensive technical information and advice on how to use them.

The instructions say they are intended for stationary installations. This may mean mobile use may not give the same long life they advertise.

Lead is high density and low strength. Support structure inside the batteries is vital for long service life. Stationary installations have much less vibration and other movement related stress. Plate supports may not be designed to resist RV movements well.

Batteries designed for RV, Marine, or Gulf Cart use tend to have better internal support structure. I know from experience that lawn tractor batteries are distinctly different from other similar size batteries. The wrong battery designed allowed plates to break off and short out cells.
