How much should I expect to pay for Hybrid Inverter installation?

So yeah, I was wondering how much I should expect to pay to have a hybrid Inverter installed in my Class A 2003 Newmar Kountry Star diesel pusher?

Any guestimate would be appreciated.

I already have a Magnum hybrid inverter, just wondering what installation costs would be "ballpark".

Not sure you've given enough information for even a ballpark bid, so I'd go high.

Wattage of inverter?
Magnum's typically have a remote panel and battery temp sensor?
What are you going to power, just a refrig., entertainment center?
How many outlets, circuits? Sub-panel?
Distance from powered items and access to them?
Room in battery bay, access?
Type of battery bank(s)?
Materials & labor?
Hourly rate?
Your place or mine?
You need it when?
$$$$

Best wishes

I'd be installing the 3000w hybrid inverter to power all of the 110 for everything but the air conditioners. I would be installing the hybrid inverter into the AC distribution system.

That would include the inverter itself wired into the system, the usual hardware for an Class A install and I guess the control panel. So that would be wired into the main 110v system, meaning everything powered by 110v would run through it, so that would probably mean an additional breaker box.

AGM, but why would battery type matter? Does it cost more to set up a charger profile for AGM or wet cell or lithium?

Distance from the powered items? Some closer, some farther away to the battery bank or inverter?

Materials and labor? If I knew that, I wouldn't be asking?

Hourly rate? That would be part of labor, right?

Well, it would be my place it would be installed in, and since it's a RV, that would probably be at a shop.

If I had answers to the last couple of your questions I wouldn't be asking my question.

I've been quoted $3500 and 2 days to install sight unseen.

The materials? Maybe a junction box, a 250a or 300a, some cable a shutoff switch? The junction box would be what, $100? The 250 or 300a breaker, another $100? Some cable... another $100? I dunno. I've never installed one before so I don't know what else I might need.

What's a normal labor rate? $100? $120? $140? $200?

How many hours to wire an inverter into an AC distribution system? 8 hours? 16 hours? I don't know.
