for a discussion about them by actual electricians. One of the things that caught my attention was someone equating the splce kits to the self contained outlets frequently being used now in RVs. While no failures were reported from the splice kits, there have been numerous reports of self contained outlets failing. This is useful information to know if I ever run into a short romex situation.
Still, I didn't see anything for large wiring like the shore cable of an RV.
Although these look to be unique they CANNOT be used on the size conductors being discussed in this topic. This splice is made for 14 and 12 solid conductors.
