HWH 625 Touch Pad will not respond

A friend has an HWH 625 Air Leveling System that will not respond to the Touch Pad. When the Ignition is turned on, the Touch Pad Travel Mode LED does light. There is no response to pressing any of the switches except that the Travel Mode LED light goes out temporarily if the Zero switch is held. I could not confirm that the HYD switch is actually functional. The Link LED on the rear of the Touch Pad is not on or flashing. But, LEDs 18 and 35 in the Control Box are ON. LED 36 is not on! LED 37 is on and LED 39 is solidly on. Voltages at CN8 for IGN and IGN OUT are good. Does this mean that the control box needs to be replaced? Is it possible that the Touch Pad is still the problem?

this sounds like two problems. first, you should verify that the control box is getting a ground signal from the park brake. check your service manual for the location of the 9000 wire in one of the connectors. nothing will work except retract or store without the park brake signal.
im in georgia, so i dont have my manuals close by.
the second problem is no blinking communication lights on the control box or touch pad.
this is an indication of an internal problem on the control box or the touch pad.
the problem on one can mimic a problem on the other.
i always send both in for repairs. it doesn't cost that much to have both pieces checked out and or repaired.
i sent you a pm on how to return the parts to hwh.

Thanks AZPETE!
Thank you for your response and your PM. I suspected that the touch pad and control box may need to be returned for repair. I only made this post because the unit belongs to a friend in the campground and I wanted to be more secure in my diagnosis before I caused him any unnecessary expense and/or hassles. I've seen your support efforts in the iRV2 forum and they are unmatched!
