HWH Leveling Jacks
I just bought a 2005 Winnebago 38j, build date of 6/04. The leveling jacks lift the coach ok but, if I need to relevel it a bit when I push the up arrow on any set it drops a slight bit before it goes up. I got a workorder from the shop that had previously worked on it and in 2020 they had replaced all the leveling solenoids and the shuttle valve. Where do I go from here?

reset the level sensor. the instructions are in the service manual.
level the coach using the arrows on the touch pad. i use a carpenters level on the floor to check level on the coach. leave the system on, and the key on.
then, go outside to the control box and look for the level sensor inside the control box.and adjust the level sensor till all the yellow lights are off.
if you need a manual, send me a photo of your touch pad and i will send you a manual.

Here is a picture. I found manuals on your website but the one for the 38j shows a dump option.

We have a 2008 38J and it's the same. Drops a small amount, then raises one side or front or back. Hasn't changed in years, so I'm thinking it's normal for a small amout of oil to bypass the solenoid valve when it opens or closes.
BTW, I love the floor plan of the 38J.

I think I figured out my problem. We were at a swap meet and the campground is all grass. I kept thinking the left rear jack was leaking down so I kept trying to level it. On Sunday when I went to pick up the blocking, I found it had sunk six inches or more into the sod. Evidently the jacks were fully extended, and I didn't realize it. My 2000 never gave me that problem but it is much lighter than the 38j. I will have to get used to that. The slides sound like they are about to fall out when I move them, especially when I start to pull them in. I am going to have to fix some on the bar that they sit on when they are out and replace the plastic wedges.
