HWH Service - Moscow IA - System Check-up

2008 Tiffin Phaeton 40' DP Cl A, Freightliner chassis, Cummins 360
I was on a trip and traveling down from the UP, thru Wisconsin, thru Illinois and further down. I decided to swing over to Moscow IA for a day and have HWH do a routine check out of my Hydraulic jacks and slides system.

I stayed within a mile of HWH at Hunt's Cedar River campground. It was very convenient to HWH, my only complaint is that it has a very long entrance road that produces a massive trail of dust that heavily coated my toad and RV. While we were there we took in the Devonian fossil bed site nearby.

At HWH, I stayed with the technician for his check out. He showed me exactly what to do if I ever have to manually pull up jacks or push in slides. They did a thorough job of exercising everything and testing everything. They found nothing wrong and added a little fluid and changed the cap/dip sticks on the two units to a newer better style. The visit took about 45 minutes and the charged me $0. It was a good experience, I would highly recommend utilizing this service if your ever passing nearby.

After the service I returned to Cedar River park for the night and my HWH system worked normally, the next day I traveled to Indianapolis and when I parked the HWH system wouldn't dump the air bags air. I called and discussed it with HWH. As I was there throughout the service visit and saw everything they did at HWH I am certain this issue is unrelated to my service visit there.

Again, this was a great service and experience and I would highly recommend it. Below I've attached a document they gave me on jacks normal retract time and I've attached my invoice.

Good report. I’m curious though about the resolution for the inability to dump air.
