X2! FWIW, my slide solenoid failed in the closed position, causing the motor to burn up. If all the wire retaining nuts are clean and tight, I would replace both solenoids before a total failure.
They are open to road elements, water and road grime, they are not waterproof.
I replaced my old obsolete solenoids with 1
2V 100A intermittent-duty dump trailer solenoids from Amazon. The HWH factory had the OEM solenoids on back-order from the supplier.
(I have the 610 central-ground leveling system and HWH slide mechanism.)
(for future use)When the motor burned-up due to solenoid stuck closed, I bought a
replacement from Northern Hydraulics for the same reason, back-order. The new motor is very quiet compared to the OEM motor, which had oil-lite bushings instead of bearings like ln the new motor.
EDIT: To help indentify your HWH leveling system, this is helpful:
quick HWH system ID
