Hydraulic jacks

Hello everyone.
We are having problems with the rear jacks leaking on our 2000 Fleetwood Bounder with F53 chassis. We looked in the manual for a part number and couldn't find a part number. We also crawled under there and again we couldn't find a part number.
Any ideas? Any help is greatly appreciated. Like always yall ate the best.
Thank yall.

Hydraulic jacks covers a broad range of manufacturers. you will need to provide more info for help. Start with the brand / manufacturer. If you can't find it on the jack itself look on your control pad for a brand name.

Agree, we need more information. Pictures of the control box and the leaking leg would also be helpful.

In the mean time, just incase you have Power Gear stabilizers, look closely at the bottom of the legs and and see if there is a grease fitting. If so, when was the last time they were greased? It doesn't take much,

Does your control panel have a brand name on it? Knowing the brand will help folks answer your questions.

The only jacks I'm familiar with are technically "non-serviceable" meaning they're not made to be disassembled and repaired. It would cost a couple dollars extra to put screw caps on the ram like almost all farm machinery hydraulic rams have. BTW: You can buy hydraulic cylinders for farm equipment much cheaper than the same size jack for your RV. The only problem is you need a mounting bracket and a foot on the end of ram. I haven't heard of anyone going through all that trouble.

When my jacks started leaking, I checked around town at shops that repaired hydraulic cylinders and got them to agree that if I cut the welds to get the caps off, they would replace the ram and the seals and then weld them back up afterwards. It still wasn't cheap but it was a lot less than buying a new jack.

The panel says power gear. We haven't greased the jacks. Wasn't aware of fittings to grease the jack. I uploaded some pictures

You said you have the owners manual, what does it say about greasing the zerk fittings? What is the model # of your Power Gear leveling system?

Did you ever find any more information on your jacks?. I have one that is leaking and it’s a power gear as well.

Just trying to find out if having it reseated is a better choice or trying to find a new one.

jacks

Couldn't find any info in the actual jack. The panel in the rig has a number 500456 but it isn't the same number as the jacks, or at least that is what I've been told. Finally, took the leaking jack off. Took it apart. Then went and bought seals and orings from a local hydraulic shop and replaced them.
Watched the youtube video that one of you suggested. Helped some but still didn't help me with finding the actual part number for the jack on my rig.
The jack doesn't have any orfice to put grease just has the port in which hydraulic lines connects.

Good job. I got my leaky Jack off, and it was a terrible job to do.
I couldn’t get my impact gun on any of the bolts. So I had to do all 6 with a breaker bar and ratchet.
Took it into the hydraulic shop, and they are going to repair it for me.
