Hydro Hot - HHE-200-07E High limit part and replace

I'm looking to replace my VAC High Limit Thermostat but the manual has two possible parts. One is just the thermostat and one is a thermostat assembly.
Does anyone know what the difference is? The images look the same. The part numbers list are ELE-HLT-222 and ELE-ASY-001.

Also, the manual doesn't have replacement instructions that I have found.
Has anyone replaced?

Hydro Hot - HHE-200-07E

Thanks
Jeff

ELE-ASY-001 has spade connector and ring connector

ELE-HLT-222 has no connectors

Both are 220*F rating

Parts manual shows different part numbers for this exact unit
ELE-HYT-322 is dc hi limit switch
ELE-ASY-001 is hi limit ac side in metal junction box with 110vac according to pictures in the manual from what I see
This is the same as on my HHE-500-07M
I believe 222 in the service manual is a misprint and should be 322 or the other way around as it seems the factory parts and service manuals don’t always match
If you google the numbers 1 comes up and the other doesn’t on my end
I’m SOOOO CONFUSED
Went through this on mine then I called John Carillo at hydra hot
Couldn’t figure out how to post pictures
Thanks Old -Biscuit

Thanks for the information. Yes, the manuals have different part numbers referenced to the same part.
322 looks to be correct part for what I need.

Now I'm confused

YOU posted about ' VAC High Limit Thermostat' as in 120VAC

'justcheckn' posted about DC.....322

I think it should be "VDC". The parts and the shop manual don't seem to be the same, but maybe I'm just lost. It's the part that is on page 8 of the Parts manual and it's labeled as Key #8 - Part# ELE-HLT-322 - Thermostat, High Limit, 220
It's the "thingy with the red reset button" as I know it. Thanks for everyone's help.

Switch you are referring to is mounted on the top right corner of the tank with the reset button. Yes you are correct , this is the 12vdc switch with reset.
