I fixed my own pex leaks
At a Tahoe Campground I noticed 3 leaking fittings when hooked up to the CG water. I had a regulator but if I used my pump no problem. Once home I took the fittings off the kitchen sink and saw that they were never replaced in my '91. In the bathroom there was also a link at the sink and behind the toilet at a shutoff valve.
I decided to replace all the fittings at first. The toilet valve was the easiest, new valve and new pex fitting from the local hardware store. The kitchen sink was also pretty easy, the rubber gaskets were no longer flexible.
The bathroom sink was another issue. I just couldn't get the hot water connection loose and some previous owner had glued the j trap. I also noticed a few hairline cracks in the sink rim. I went on the inet and saw that sinks and faucets are cheap so I went back to the MH with my 18v sawsall and in no time at all I had the faucet in my hand and the sink out. I order new parts from Dyer's and it took just two days.
The new sink, faucet and j trap went in fast. All the fittings I could get at the local harware store including pex pipe. For the shower I bought a new faucet and say I needed two 90 pex fittings which I ordered on line. It should be the easiest because it is right there in a closet. I ordered some extra unions to fix any future leaks in the piping.
I figured I save a bunch by doing it myself and learned a lot about pex tubing.
