Unhappy Inadvertantly fried elec system with 220V

Yes, that's right... i plugged my 2000 coachmen into a 30amp plug that was ultimately wired with 220V instead of 110V... needless to say, the power transfer switch was fried, along with 2 TV's, DVD, microwave and a few misc items (alarm clock etc)... the unit is currently at the repair facility... however, i'd like to know what else might have been affected so that we can be sure to check those items. i have asked that they specifically check the satillite system, but with no TV at this time, they have not been able to determine yes or no.
Is there anything that i should be wary of that might appear to work at this time, but would be affected and maybe just not work quite right in the near future? such as the refrigerator... it appears to function now, but is there a chance that it could now be temperamental and not work properly? insurance appears to be covering this, so any advice would be appreciated.

for those of you wondering... this plug was installed 5 years ago when we built our detached garage... told the electrician we wanted a 30amp plug for future use... we just recently completed the "parking pad" next to the garage... last weekend i plugged into the outlet for the first time, and "walah" he had wired it with 220V instead of 110V

Welcome!

sissko..Welcome to iRV2! I am sorry your first post is for such an expensive repair to be done - but you are not the only one this has happened to.
You might want to do a search of "Mom2Mastiffs" posts... I believe she had the same thing happen to her. (her Mom's electrician wired it incorrectly too.)

Good Luck on your repairs ...again welcome to the Forum..we do hope you visit & post often!

Check your converter/charger (or inverter/charger, if you have that instead). They are often a victim when the voltage goes high like that.

Invest in a Surge Guard or equivalent to protect you from this and other problems out there. Have all 120 vac apparatuses checked as they can all be compromised. If functioning properly at the end of the repair of all others then you should be good to go. There are heating elements in the ref. and water heater that you may want to change out as they may have partially shorted out the filaments. Good luck and keep us posted.
