i've read that when installing the amish cooling unit in a slide out , the baffle in the top must be removed to prevent overheating. we have a norcold 1095n fridge. does this sound right?

this is the info i got from jc refrigeration. it seems like it pertains to all their gas/electric cooling units. on page 7 it states the baffle alongside the vent cover must be removed if the fridge is in the slideout. should i follow their recommendation on this?
I would Call and discuss with them........
Reason to remove ----- OVERHEATING?
Draft in slide out (airflow)
Why their cooling unit doesn't need the baffle to direct airflow thru condenser FINS
The whole concept behind the baffles is directing airflow up/across cooling unit then over the condenser fins and exhausting out upper vent to remove the heat (condenser cools hot ammonia vapor into warm liquid ammonia.....more heat removed the more liquid ammonia condensed ===more cooling absorption occurs)

all right- here's the info from jc refrigeration today - " it is more important to have more air thru the vent. it will perform better. the warranty can be voided if the vent is not removed"
this is the response i got in my email with them. sooooo---- i removed my baffle this afternoon. hope this is the right call, but i did it to keep my warranty valid.
what do you folks think of their response?
