Inverter Overload /temp

Was connected to 50 Amp shore line..system was acting up. Having the RV maint. to check the 50 amp breaker on shore line. Mean time connected to 30 amp all night, running 2 ac plus frig and water heater..inveter overtemp overload/AGM red light blinking. EMS power management showed 25 amp draw max..is this normal? I turned off the inveter still blinking cooling fan running>>

Figured out how to reset the inverter. does running off a 30 amp caused the overload with AC, frig and water heater

There is something going on that is not normal. 1) When an RV is connected to shore power, the inverter should not be supplying power to the coach whether or not it is on. 2) It is not possible to run at the same time all of the equipment you state you are running with only 30 amp. power.

It is possible that you transfer switch is short circuiting so that both the inverter and the shore power are going to the coach at the same time. Whether this would allow you to run everything you say you are running at the same time is very interesting, as is the comment that the inverter is showing hot. Definitely need to have checked out by qualified serviceperson.

The 50 amp shore power is on now. I rested the inverter showing charge GEL 1. The white butten 25 is out (branch circuit rated breaker). Don't know if I should push it back in it not?

I would not reset the inverter until you figure out what is going on. You said your EMS showed 25 amp load, does your EMS manage your A/C so both aren't on at once? 2 A/C, refrig, electric water heater is way too much for 30 amps, I imagine your inverter might have been on taking at least the refrig load, usually large inverters are wired that way to operate refrig while traveling. As ebksafari said, inverter should not be on when plugged into shore power, so you've got a switching problem.
Also, you said when connected to 50 amp shore cord, "system was acting up." What was happening? It might help giving you help if you list more info in your signature about your RV.

I really beg to differ about the inverter not being on while connected to shore power. Ours is wired so that unless we have the inverter on there are quite a few outlets and things that will not work and the house batteries do not get charged.
We have ours on while plugged in but on standby while on the road. That is the way it is set up to be used.

There was bad breaker on 50 amp shore power. It was replaced today. Has been running on 50 amp for hour or so. Inverter shows charging. I have 2004 Fleetwood excursion
