Is my Refirgerator running?
I don't know how to tell if my refig. is running. I have a Domestic RM2652. When running is there any noise? When Putting on LP mode I can see the pilot lit. But On AC I don't know if it is on.. It doesn't seem to be getting cooler. I touched the plate in the back and it wasn't cool to the touch. But this was only after about 10 minutes Running on the Generator.. How long does it take it to get cool?

I take longer than 10 minutes. Give it a couple of hours then check it.

It will take the frig 12 to 24 hours to cool properly. After a couple of hours you should be able to feel the heat from the boiler and generator section in the back. The freezer plate should start to feel cool.

Before the days of caller id, my Mother in Law got a phone call in the middle of the night asking her if her refridgerator was running. She replied that it was and then the caller replied "Well then you better go catch it", laughed hysterically and hung up. Oh, the good old days...

We bought a digital battery operated stat with (2) remotes, one for the fridge and one for the freezer, to monitor these areas plus the living area of the rig. LaCrosse is one brand that comes to mind but there are others. Saves having to open the doors for temp checking which is not good as it doesn't take much to lose fridge box temps and the recovery is sloooow.

Should run on AUTO so when your have shore power will be on 110 and when moving to new location will Auto switch to LP operation and than back to 110 when at new campground with shore power back on.
If your Gen Is running will AUTO to that 110 supply.
