Cool It's Hot With No Shade

I have a Dometic Weather Pro awning system that controls the door and patio awnings. The control box does not always light up and thus does not function. So here is some background. We bought the coach, 2011 Allegro Bus 40QXP, in spring of 2019. The awning was not functioning so we took it back for the repair. I was told there was a lose power supply and it was repaired. The awning worked for awhile but has been intermittent since that time. At one point I was convinced that the chassis needed to be perfectly level in order to function. But that doesn't make sense to me. I have checked the supply wires to the control box and did find a lose wire. This may have been what the dealer found originally. Repairing the wiring has not helped the situation. There is 13V being supplied to the control box. A couple days ago I looked at the control box and it was illuminated and I could extend the door awning (did not try the patio awning). This lasted for a couple minutes and then the lights went off. Leaving me with an extended door awning that I can't retract.
There are few things that I don't understand and I'm hoping someone can provide some insight.
Is it at all possible that the control box is somehow tied to the chassis being level?
I replaced the control box but the issue still persists. What other inputs to the control box would prevent it from functioning correctly?
Does anyone know of a trouble shooting manual for the control box? I can't find a model number on the control box. The door awning sku No. is 9108678911.

When you measured the voltage to the control unit what was you using as a ground connection? If you didn'n use the control unit ground connection then it's possible the control does not have a good ground.

Ground Wire

I measured the voltage at the output side of the plug using the red and black wires.
