Lead free Y water hose connection - Where?
I am looking for a brass lead free Y splitter water hose connection with valves and a straight brass hose connection with a shut off valve to put in-line on my water hose supply to the coach. I can’t find any that says it is lead free and human consumption. Where can I find them?
Thanks in Advance

Since brass has historically had lead in it, I believe those warning are just liability reducers for the manufacturers adn sellers of those things. I'll bet those warnings would still be on the packaging even if there was no lead mixed with the zinc and copper.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brass#Lead_content
California doesn't allow more than a quarter of a percent of lead in brass plumbing parts, but since there is still lead even at that small of an amount, the warning language is still warranted.

Just get a plastic one.
Most garden supply departments of good hardware stores have a good selection.

If it's Brass that you want Home Depot has a 4 hose hook-up unit at a decent price.

x2 on the plastic one. I had a brass Y that lasted six months and developed a split (never frozen) in the side. The plastic one from Ace Hardware has lasted almost two years with no problems.

Is there a reason you want brass instead of plastic? As 1bigmess stated, all brass has some, even if just a trace, of lead. I don't think you'll find a brass one without any lead in it. I tried years ago & couldn't come up with any.

Plastic here too! They won't last as long, but much easier to attach!

Been using this brass one that I got at ACE Hardware for the 7 yrs we Full Timed.
Course I grew up eating dirt/worms, swimming in a pond, drinking water from a hot rubber garden hose, running bare footed all summer, holding/eating a sandwich while dumping RV waste tanks and never sanitizing fresh water tank..........occasionally run with scissors too.

FWIW, lead effects a developing brain, adults are not at risk for exposure to small amounts of lead. If you have children, plastic wyes are best, and hoses with SST or plastic fittings.
I've never worn out a plastic wye, they've always been left at CG's somewhere.

Lead is also harmful to other adults. Adults exposed to lead can suffer from:
Cardiovascular effects, increased blood pressure and incidence of hypertension
Decreased kidney function
Reproductive problems (in both men and women)
