Leveling jacks

We recently made a trip from Carlsbad, NM to Fort Stockton, TX on US 285. US 285 goes through the oil fields in SE New Mexico, and is very bad road. Pot holes galore, and lots of semis entering the road. Well, when we reached Fort Stockton, I found that the levelling jack system wouldn't turn on. I ensured that the motor was running, the parking break was engaged, but when I pressed the on/off button, nothing. I checked the fuse box, and found a fuse by the hydraulic system, and all fuses and circuit breakers were good.

Any suggestions would be great. At this point, I'm lost.

Loose Connector?

Check all the electrical connectors. Maybe one of them vibrated loose. Control Panel, and electrical connections on hydraulic unit. This from a guy the worked on helicopter electronics for over 25 years.

That's one of the worst roads I've ever been on. I lost one of my leveling valves on that road.

I finally made it back home and got the coach into a service center. Let me back up. After leaving Fort Stockton, we made our way to Mayo, FL. We sat there for about 6 weeks. When I started the coach to go, not only did the jacks not work, but the driver's powered chair, and the cigarette lighter on the dash didn't work.

So, the service center took a look at it, and after a few hours, they found that an ignition wire to the main board had broken. They replaced it with a new wire, and everything is great!

Since the driver's seat and cigarette lighter (power port) continued to work for most of the trip, I'm not sure what exactly happened. I'll just go with what I told users when I worked the IT help desk, "I don't care WHY it didn't work, as long as it's working now."
