The last few times I was retracting the leveling jacks, I noticed that they were retracting a little slower than normal, however I felt it maybe due to the cold weather. Thoughts?
I have a 2011 Tiffin Allegro Open Road and I want to check and possibly add Hydraulic fluid for my slide outs and leveling jacks.
Where is the reservoir located?
What type of fluid should be added?
What is the procedure?
Do I need to purge the system and if so, what is that procedure?
Would you recommend doing this while I am on this trip?
Any information is appreciated.
Please note I will be driving for the next few hours so follow up questions or answers maybe delayed

Your jacks will naturally retract slower in cold weather since the fluid is cold and slow.
The reservoir is that white plastic tank on the back of the pump.
Generally, the system does not need to be purged. You can order HWH fluid on Amazon and it will be clear. You can use power steering fluid, but it is tinted with a red color. Check the fluid level with the jacks up or you can overfill the tank.
