lightning damage?

We were struck by lightning in Aug 2014. Repaired that year, now within 2 weeks our fridge and hw heater switch., wiring and thermostat also quit. We have a 2012 5th wheel. For ins. Purpose, can this latest malfunction be connected back to the lightning?

You will have to try. Nothing ventured, nothing gained. But with it being struck in '14 and repaired and here it is in '16, I would say that no, insurance won't cover it.

Hi
I appreciate the quick reply. I will try, after checking with RV repair, since Insurance has left the 2014 Claim open.

agree...doesn't hurt to try but "try" is defined as something other than you saying the events are linked. was the RV used between the repairs of the lightning strike and now? if no then you might have a better case but if the fridge and htr switch were working properly then you have a tougher hill to climb. expert testimony will be worth its weight in gold...do you know such a person?
