I'm not sure if I would call it a flicker. My lights will slowly dim then get bright. This seems to happen about every 10 seconds. You don't really notice them dimming but you notice them getting bright. This seems to happen a couple of hours after my light are on. I don't think it is my power because these are the 12 volt lights doing this. Anything that runs on 120 seems to be fine. My vent fans will also slow down at the same time then speed back up. You don't notice the lights dimming or the fans slowing until you see the light get brighter or the pitch of the fan go faster.
Any ideas on the problem. I am always plugged into shore power when camping. This isn't confined to just one campground. It seems to be every place I go.

Joe, it sounds to me like you have a bad OPen Road mounted battery and the converter is trying to catch up with it. Your lights and and you fans run off of 12 volt and should still work if you unplug the shore power. If they don't, the is a problem with the battery. With all of the heat we've had here (I'm not too far from you), you may be low on water and the converter charger cannot bring the battery up to full voltage.
There is some great information on the Internet under the "12 volt side of life". I don't have the link right now but if you do a Google search, you should find it easily.

Joe, here is the link referred to www.ccis.com/home/mnemeth/12volt/12volt.htm Check to be sure the battey does not have a bad cell. The brighter lights and fan speed increase is a result of the charger increasing voltage to the batteries.

Thanks, I'll check the water level in the batteries first. I have two batteries in mine. I had a dead converter when I bought my Open Road which had to be replaced. Unfortunately I didn't notice it until my batteries were completly drained.
