Limits on Flojet Portable Macerator Pump

I am going to be parking about 100' from an inlet to my sons septic system. It's going to be a rise of 24-30" all at the far end. Am I dreaming to think my Flojet will handle it? Would a 1" hose help? My brain says a 1" vs 3/4" would make it harder to push uphill.

1 inch hose will be better then 3/4 hose due to less friction loss in the hose.
Learned that as a Fire Engine pump operator.

I used my macerator and pumped 75 feet away and 2 feet up, with 5/8 garden hose, 3 or 4 times. It worked but the thermal switch would shut down the pump after a few minutes.

I then went with Harbor Freight, roll flat, 1-1/2 inch hose. That lets the pump run with much less strain and drains the tanks faster. It also stopped the thermal overload.

100' distance with 2" rise at end of run WILL be pushing Flojets cababilities

1" hose is better then 3/4" or smaller dia. hoses

I routinely pumped pumped 50 gal black and 78 gal grey 75' with 2' + rise when visting sister
Pumped black....5-6 minutes then turned it off for 2 minutes the finished pumping until empty
Pumped grey......5-6 minutes/2 minute break then finished pumping grey until empty
THEN flushed with Clear/clean water for 1 minute

Flojet motor got 'VERY WARM' but never tripped during pumping

You can shorten your distance to pump by using 15 or 20 feet of 3 inch slinky between the coach and the pump. I had a similar situation. That was my solution. No problem for the pump to go 75 feet through 3/4 inch hose.

But since you are pumping up hill you will have some residual liquid in the hose when the pump stops.

If you pump black then gray and then flush with fresh water you can re-direct the hose downhill and let the residual fresh water drain to an appropriate place.
