Lithium Batteries & Shore Power

Hi,
I have a 2021 16RB Caravel with factory solar and Lithium batteries. At present we are living 5 days a week in our trailer in southern CO. The heat is on low so no issues there.

My concern is with the Caravel being plugged in 24/7. Are there any issues I need to be aware of as far as overcharging or battery damage?

Should I unplug the factory solar on the roof or make any other adjustments to our setup with it being on shore power continually?

Thanks for any help you can give.

Is your converter LI compatible? If so then no worries.

If your solar charger is setup for LI, then it will top off what a non-compatible converter leaves.

But as long as your batteries have a decent BMS then that will manage charging needs and any temperature constraints.

Do you have a converter or an inverter/charger ?

If I was living in a trailer for an extended period (months), I would disconnect my Li batteries completely. As long as they don't freeze, they will stay close to fully charged for months.
