location of water pump control module

Hi All, on my 2000 Fleetwood Southwind 32V the water pump switches (three of them) will not turn on the pump on the first try. I am presuming the control module is getting old and tired. (Aren't we all?)

Can anyone confirm that I'm on the right track, and if so, where is this module located. I cannot see up under the panel in the power/water compartment but would be willing to go to the trouble to remove the cover if necessary.

Thank you.

Not familiar with your setup, but I don't believe you have a 'control module' -- I don't. What you likely have is 3 different switches wired directly to your water pump. I would instead check the electrical connections at the pump and make sure they're tight and not corroded. May not be idea to disconnect, clean, and retighten nonetheless.

If that doesn't do it for you, keep looking for the elusive control module (probably in the vicinity of the water bay), or more likely, replace the tired pump.

Good luck

Three switches of the correct type are all that is needed to control the pump. Wiring is a bit tricky for this.

However, some owner's have reported their RV had a solenoid and the three switches each could switch the state of the solenoid.

So there may or may not be a solenoid. In any case loose or corroded connections could be the cause. Blown fuses could also disable the pump. Usually a fuse does not become erratic.

Thank you both. After both replies suggesting that there is no control module, I pulled out the face of the stove hood to look at the water pump switch. It looked clean but did not have the clean sounding "click" that other switches nearby had. Since several of these switches are identical SPST switches I swapped the water pump switch with the propane level switch which I seldom use. VOILA! Water pump problem solved. The switches look very familiar and I believe are sold by Amazon. Thank you both for saving me the hours of labor upside-down to remove the water compartment panel.
