We are experiencing low water pressure in our RV, and I have done the following to find the source of the low pressure. I have cleaned the faucet screens, removed the onboard filter, changed then eliminated the exterior pressure regulator, and there is no change in the water pressure at any faucet. The pressure is about the same whether using water from the faucet or the water tank, and it doesn't matter whether we are using hot or cold water. Since the pressure is low no matter the which source, I don't think it is the inlet connection, but I will be changing it out next week. I have tried to eliminate the various variables individually, but none have shown to be that which is causing the low water pressure. Interesting to note, there is a constriction in the flow somewhere, because after not using water for a while, when a faucet is turned on, the pressure is somewhat decent for a few seconds then drops down to the slow flow.

If anyone has any ideas as to the problem, I am all ears, or in the case of this forum eyes

There is a screen filter attached to the water pump, have you cleaned that? I is in a clear case that twists off. I had that problem once and cleaned the screen and solved it.

First question, is this a new problem or is this something that you've always experienced with this coach?

Second question, can you be a bit more specific about "low flow" and to what is it compared?

Third question, have you tried just the pump with all faucets shut off to see if it stops running? This will tell you if there is a leak such as water being diverted back into the fresh tank.

From your post, you've checked out all the usual suspects, but we are dependent on your information. There is very little difference in the plumbing between the city water connection and the pump connection to the system. Your problem exists with either city water or pump, so I agree with your conclusion that the hose connection is not likely the problem.

There is one thing you might check or report on. If the diverter valve from city water to tank fill is leaking, water will be circulating back into the fresh tank as well as flowing through the system. You should be able to hear it if this is happening, and the tank will be filling slowly if connected to city water. I bring this up because it is the only thing you haven't mentioned that could account for low flow.

Based on your post, the problem is within the main plumbing system, not the outside connection or pump. If no leaks or leaking valves, there appears to be a restriction, somewhere after the pump, on the main line to all faucets and water heater.

Sorry you have this problem, but a bit more data might help.
1) We don’t know where you are. At home in your driveway? In a large, very old campground that may have a sketchy water system?
2) Have you simply disconnected your hose from the outside water source and determined that the source flow is strong and forceful?
3) I’m not sure if you’re distinguishing between pressure and flow. Just what do you consider a weak flow?
Frankly, it almost sounds like what I’ve been dealing with a lot for the last year or so. I like a good hard flow. I set my regulator at 55-60psi. Of course if the park pressure is lower that’s all I get. We spent a lot of time at a CoE park in Texas, and now we’re at an RV park in NC. Both nice places, but the ambient park pressure only runs at about 40psi, sometimes a bit lower at the TX park. All you get from the onboard pump is 40-42psi, so pump or park will all feel the same, and I think 40psi gives a pretty lame flow.
Maybe that’s all your dealing with... not a problem so much as just a big annoyance.

Thank you for all your thoughts on this matter. I have purchased a glycerin filled water pressure gauge to keep in my RV. I will be attaching that to the faucet to measure the water pressure prior to connecting the hoses to the rig. When that comes in, I will check the pressure here at the house and let you know what I find out.

Turn pump on W/O any faucet open as suggested by 'ljwt330'

Did you check the screen in the city water inlet?

If your kitchen is in a slide, under there is where I would look for a kink.

Do you have the same issue with the bath water.

And as usual, make sure the outside shower in the water bay is turned completely off.

I've heard of that causing 'luke warm water' temps due to mixing of hot/cold inside the shower faucet

But 'Low System Pressure'?
Haven't heard of that one.
Hot/cold go to faucet but that shouldn't affect overall system pressure
