LP gas valves

Ok I have a 1990 pace arrow the gas didn't come on this year after winter off. I found that if I take the safety valve out of line it works fine. My question is the safety valve has two wires to it. Is this something with a fuse? There is a gate valve closed in it! I had not problem with it last year. How do I test this valve or what steps do I take to resolve my problem?

That valve is controlled by your LP detector.
The valve is in a normally closed position, and is only opened when the LP detector is operating properly and allows 12V to flow through it and open the valve solenoid.
If the LP detector throws an alarm or loses power, the valve solenoid loses power and the valve closes. Safety feature.
Check the LP detector and your 12V system.
And just cause it worked last year doesn't mean anything. I've seen plenty of things stop working within the 1hr it sat parked, from shutting it off to it not starting.

Idk where yours is at. It's right above the floor somewhere because LP is heavier than air.
There is very possibly a fuse directly behind it once you remove it from the cabinet/panel.
