Looks like you got that from a Internet Search on:
What are the different types of Macerator pumps?
There are three different types of RV macerator pumps: portable RV macerator pumps, permanent RV macerator pumps, and 110v RV macerator pumps.
Portable and permanent are DC...majority of what RVrs use
*Portable.....twists onto end of dump line. Hookup DC Power (alligator clips), Hookup discharge hose (garden hose --3/4" or 1" work best), Hookup fresh water flush/rinse hose (standard garden hose to clean pump/discharge hose after pumping)
*Permanent.... typically installed on black dump line ...grey can go to it OR be bypassed
*110VAC...similar to above but need AC Power
Portable style
Flojet and SewerFlo are examples of portable
Permanent Style
Jabsco, Surflo, Flojet etc ...have Permanent Mount Styles
Here is a Comparison of 12 (portable, permanent)

I have a Portable Flojet....since 2008
Been reliable ---- once a year I disassembly pump head and clean the chopper blade and Impellor
