Mach 8A/C

2014 Phaeton, One air conditioner will run for only 20 to 30 seconds and shut down. It’ll come back on in a little while to run for 30 seconds shut off. Anybody know what that means?

Not sure if this describes your issue but it sounds similar.

Is the condenser fan ( the noisy one on the roof that blows air straight up) running. If not the system is shutting down from over pressure. It could be the start capacitor for the condenser fan, or the fan, or the wiring.

That is my best guess but it could be any number of other things.

I tried to attach the service manual but my internet isn't good enough.

You should be able to find it online.

Use Airxcel service manual mach 8 to search.
